You have the right to cancel the enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance at the first class session, or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later. CEC 94911(e)(1) If you wish to cancel this agreement. Provide a written notice that states that you no longer wish to be bound by this agreement. Your notice must be timely delivered to the institution. If your notice is mailed, it must be postmarked on or before the date notice is required.
Federal Title IV Financial Aid is currently only available for the Master’s Program, NOT the DAHM. If you are enrolled in the MAHM program and would like to learn more about financial aid, please refer to the MAHM program catalog. Student Right to Know Rates Students have the right to know graduation rates from the IPEDS system. This may be requested from the registrar.
Return to Title IV Policy
When a Title IV borrower’s enrollment drops below part-time, the unused portion of the funds will be returned to the Department of Education (Return to Title IV). For details, please visit or contact the Department of Financial Aid at fsadirector@amu.edu
(a) A qualifying institution shall include the following statement on both its enrollment agreement and school catalog: "The State of California established the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) to relieve or mitigate economic loss suffered by a student in an educational program at a qualifying institution, who is or was a California resident while enrolled, or was enrolled in a residency program, if the student enrolled in the institution, prepaid tuition, and suffered an economic loss. Unless relieved of the obligation to do so, you must pay the state-imposed assessment for the STRF, or it must be paid on your behalf, if you are a student in an educational program, who is a California resident, or are enrolled in a residency program, and prepay all or part of your tuition.
